Reputed gangster “King Evil” killed in MoBay

A drive by shooting in the parish of St. James lead to the death of feared gangster Omar Lewis.

Lewis, who went by the allies “King Evil” or “Scrappy”, was the leader of the Nation Crocs Gang, which operated out of the inner-city community of Canterbury.

Reports are that at about 7:30 pm last night, Lewis was sitting in his car in St Catherine Hall, Montego bay, when unknown assailants drove by and riddled his vehicle with bullets.

Lewis received multiple gun shots and died on the spot.

It is believed that this incident has triggered a series of shooting in sections of the st. James city. There were reports of shooting in North Gully and Hart Street.

As a result, members of the Constabulary Force and Jamaica Defense Force, were deployed across the city of Montego Bay in an attempt to stop these shooting and any reprisal killing that may occur.
